The Number Twelve Looks Like You return with Howls From The Holographic Heart

The Number Twelve Looks Like You have released Howls From The Holographic Heart, their first album since 2019’s Wild Gods. Equal Vision confirmed the release on October 16, alongside a video for opening track “Trust Chaos.”

The New Jersey progressive-metalcore band’s sixth full-length was produced by Jeremy Comitas, Trae Titus and guitarist Alexis Pareja. The announced line-up also features vocalist Jesse Korman, bassist Cody McCorry and drummer Michael DeMarco.

Pareja is therefore part of both the playing line-up and the team credited with shaping the record in the studio.

The new video is credited to Animoscillator. The band’s explanation of the song centres on accepting the paths not taken and the unexpected turns that help shape a life.

For returning listeners, the immediate news is straightforward: the long gap between studio albums is over, and there is a complete new record to explore, not only another advance announcement.
