Guitarists On Demand return with G.O.D.V and 13 guitar-led tracks
Guitarists On Demand return with 13 tracks, including Aoki’s Fragments of Soul with Andreoli, Valverde and Sherinian. Digital and retail release dates explained.
Guitarists On Demand have released G.O.D.V, putting a full album of instrumental guitar music back on the table after five years between new releases. The record arrived on the project’s Bandcamp page on October 25, 2026, with 13 tracks available as a digital album.
Guitar music built around the composers
Masahiro “Godspeed” Aoki opens the record with “Fragments of Soul”. Its official credits name Felipe Andreoli on bass, Bruno Valverde on drums and Derek Sherinian on keyboards, with Shota Nakama as recording coordinator. Those are credits for this track—not a claim that the same musicians appear throughout the album.
The wider track list includes contributions from Seda, Satoshi Oka, Alfie Bradic and JungMato, among others. For guitar listeners, the draw is that multi-player format: a chance to follow several individual approaches across one release, rather than treating the project as a single permanent band lineup.
Thirteen contributors, not a reduced membership
In an October 17 essay, Aoki explains that 13 of the project’s 18 members participated. He describes a collective that can accommodate musicians’ other commitments, rather than making everyone wait until all calendars align. The people sitting this release out have not thereby been announced as leaving.
Aoki also puts composition ahead of guitar-hero branding. His account frames the release as an opportunity for sustained instrumental songwriting, rather than a collection of short social-media demonstrations. That is the project’s stated ambition, not a verdict from a listening review.
Available digitally; general retail follows
The official Bandcamp release is already available. Aoki’s announcement separately gives November 18 for general retail distribution, including Amazon. The two dates describe different release channels, not competing answers to when the record came out.
