Loudness guitarist Akira Takasaki joined Angra, Kiko Loureiro and singer Edu Falaschi for Deep Purple’s “Burn” at Full Metal Japan in Yokohama on October 25, 2026.

Angra’s management, Top Link Music, has shared a stage-side video of the performance. Its description identifies all three guests and confirms the song, date and city.

A guitar-heavy meeting in Yokohama

The festival had billed Angra’s appearance with Loureiro and Falaschi as special guests. Its official artist page lists Rafael Bittencourt and Marcelo Barbosa as Angra’s guitarists, with Loureiro also credited on guitar and Falaschi on vocals.

Takasaki adds the Loudness connection. The Japanese band’s festival profile identifies him as its guitarist and traces the group’s history back to 1981. For guitar fans, the attraction here is straightforward: players associated with Angra and Loudness meeting around a Deep Purple song.

Full Metal Japan took place on October 24–25 at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama. The “Burn” footage comes from the second day, rather than a rehearsal or an announcement of a future collaboration.
