Power Trip Release Precinct 3 and Scavenger, With a New Video

Power Trip have released “Precinct 3” and “Scavenger” as a digital double single through Blue Grape Music on October 9. The band’s official Bandcamp page credits Jacob Hansen as producer and guitarist Blake Ibanez as co-producer. “Precinct 3” runs 3:16, while “Scavenger” runs 3:46.

Two songs and a new video

An official video for “Precinct 3,” directed by Eric Richter, accompanies the release. The band’s publicity announcement presents the songs as the first new recordings with vocalist Seth Gilmore following the death of Riley Gale in 2020. That makes the release a concrete next step for the band’s current recording era.

A full-length is planned for 2027

The same publicity announcement says a new full-length is planned for 2027. A final album title and firm release date are not established in the primary material checked for this report. For now, the release available on the official Bandcamp page is the two-song digital package; future physical-edition availability should be checked separately.
