EPICA’s orchestra-and-choir show has a new digital home. Live at The Symphonic Synergy arrived on October 2, 2026 through Nuclear Blast, bringing the Amsterdam performance to streaming platforms. Apple Music lists 20 tracks and a running time of two hours and nine minutes.

The Amsterdam recording, now streaming

The recording comes from September 20, 2024 at AFAS Live, where EPICA performed with a full orchestra and choir. Nuclear Blast has also shared a concert video for “Consign to Oblivion”, the closing track on the digital album. “Unleashed”, “Sensorium” and “Arcana” are among the selections on the label’s published tracklist.

There is an important piece of release history here. EPICA had already included the concert in special editions of Aspiral: the five-disc earbook paired a Blu-ray with two live CDs, while the two-disc digipak included the Blu-ray. Those configurations were set out in the band’s January 2025 album announcement. The October 2 announcement concerns the digital album release.

A larger stage for the songs

The project was conceived as a return to large-scale orchestral performance. In the November 2023 announcement, EPICA placed it in the lineage of The Classical Conspiracy and Retrospect, with shows planned for the Netherlands and Mexico. That history gives the expanded ensemble a clear place in the band’s story.

The September 20 show was also offered as a professional multi-camera livestream. In its announcement ahead of the concert, the band promised orchestral arrangements, guest performers and material from its then-upcoming album. The digital edition gives that particular chapter another point of entry.
