Graveyard’s Fever reaches its October 9 release date with an important change behind the controls: the Swedish band produced its seventh studio album itself. Nuclear Blast lists nine tracks, with Pelle Gunnerfeldt handling the mix.

The band takes the producer’s chair

In the original announcement, Graveyard explained that it wanted to make this record without an outside producer. That is the useful distinction here: self-production describes who steered the sessions. It does not mean the band handled every technical stage alone.

The later announcement for “A Means To An End” credits Robin Schmidt with mastering at 24-96 Mastering. Maarten Donders created the album artwork. Together, those credits give listeners a clearer picture of the record’s making than a vague claim that everything was done in-house.

Where to start with Fever

“Back From The Grave” opens the published tracklist, “A Means To An End” sits in the middle, and “Dead Note” closes it. The release follows 2023’s Six, giving returning listeners a new full-length chapter rather than a repackaged collection.

For guitar-minded listeners, the interesting question is how a band’s own production choices shape the balance between its players. The official release date is October 9; individual shops and streaming services may update at different times.
