Joanne Shaw Taylor Announces May 2027 UK Tour
Joanne Shaw Taylor has announced May 2027 UK dates ahead of The Trouble With Love. Here are the listed shows and verified ticket-sale details.
Joanne Shaw Taylor is heading back to the UK in May 2027, with a newly announced run stretching from Harpenden to Glasgow. The announcement arrives ahead of The Trouble With Love, her forthcoming album, and gives blues-guitar fans a new set of dates to plan around.
The announced dates
Noble PR’s October 19 announcement lists the following eight shows:
- May 2: The Eric Morecambe Centre, Harpenden
- May 3: City Varieties Music Hall, Leeds
- May 4: Playhouse, Whitley Bay
- May 6: Cadogan Hall, London
- May 7: The Apex, Bury St Edmunds
- May 8: Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester
- May 9: Town Hall, Birmingham
- May 11: Saint Luke’s, Glasgow
The announcement says the shows will draw on the new record and Taylor’s earlier catalogue. That is a preview of the planned repertoire, not a confirmed song-by-song setlist.
Tickets: check the local sale time
Planet Rock’s presale is scheduled for October 21, with general sale on October 23. Ticketmaster’s individual Manchester and Glasgow listings specify 10 a.m. BST for both sales. Check your chosen venue’s listing before booking: the publicity release labels the time GMT instead, and Ticketmaster’s general tour guide mentions nine dates rather than the eight listed above.
A new record, a familiar guitar connection
The Trouble With Love is due October 23, 2026, through Journeyman Records. Taylor’s official store identifies Kevin Shirley as producer; the album is still forthcoming as of October 20.
For guitar readers, her long relationship with “Junior” provides useful context. In a January 2026 Guitarist interview, Taylor described the instrument as a 1966 Fender Esquire she bought at 15, later fitted with a neck humbucker. That history does not establish which instruments she will use on the 2027 dates.
For background on humbucker design, read our guide to PAF humbuckers. This is general pickup context, not an identification of the neck pickup in “Junior”.
