Santana Adds 16 Las Vegas Shows for 2027
Santana extends his House of Blues Las Vegas residency with 16 shows in January and May 2027, following an October 2 general ticket on-sale.
Santana has added 16 Las Vegas shows for 2027, giving guitar fans two new runs at House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay. General ticket sales opened on October 2 following the September 28 announcement.
The dates continue An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live, presented by SiriusXM. Eight shows are scheduled for January and another eight for May, extending the calendar beyond the previously announced November 2026 performances.
The new Las Vegas dates
- January 2027: 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, 30 and 31.
- May 2027: 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 20, 22 and 23.
Santana’s official tour page lists every date and links to the ticket seller. These are two separate eight-show engagements in the same venue, so anyone planning a trip should check the individual performance listing before booking travel. Ticket prices and remaining inventory can change.
A player who helped shape the instrument
There is a useful guitar connection behind the calendar news. PRS documents Paul Reed Smith delivering a maple-top guitar to Santana in November 1980, following a backstage meeting earlier that autumn. That instrument preceded the factory-era company and helped establish a lasting relationship between player and builder.
PRS also credits Santana with a major role in developing its more affordable SE line, launched in 2001 with the Santana SE. That is a documented design legacy, rather than a claim about which guitar or amplifier will appear at these future shows.
Our listening priority would be the phrasing: where a bend settles, how long a note hangs, and how the next phrase answers the band. A familiar melody can tell you plenty when you pay attention to those decisions.
