tAKiDA have released “Tale of four broken men,” a new single from Numbers, their upcoming album due January 8, 2027, through Napalm Records. The label published the accompanying video on October 15, giving listeners another way into the Swedish band’s next record.

A new song, with the album still ahead

The distinction matters: “Tale of four broken men” is out now; Numbers is still a forthcoming release. Apple Music lists the digital single as a three-song package dated October 15, while the announced album contains ten tracks and opens with the new song.

In the band’s release statement, tAKiDA describe the song in terms of anger and disappointment between old friends. That is their account of its subject, rather than a claim about the people or events behind it. The statement also places the track alongside earlier preview “In your bed,” offering another point of comparison before the full album arrives.

Where the guitars fit

The announced lineup includes guitarists Tomas Wallin and Mattias Larsson, with Chris Rehn also credited across guitars, bass, keyboards, arrangements and programming. Those are personnel credits, not evidence of which instrument or amplifier appears on a particular recording. The new video is the direct place to hear how the parts work together.

Numbers is also followed by a live run: the band’s January 2027 Section 7 Tour lists 16 shows across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with Ad Infinitum announced as special guests. The dates begin January 9 in Munich and finish January 30 in Pratteln.

For now, watch Napalm Records’ official “Tale of four broken men” video and decide which side of tAKiDA you want to hear more of on Numbers.
