Mason Hill release Tainted Wings before World So Wonderful
Tainted Wings began with Tom Ward’s audition chorus and now previews Mason Hill’s October 23 album World So Wonderful.

Mason Hill have released Tainted Wings ahead of their new album World So Wonderful, due October 23, 2026 through 7Hz Productions. The single and its official visualizer arrived on October 9.
The chorus that began with an audition
In a release statement carried by Jace Media Music, singer Tom Ward explains that this was the first song for which he wrote a chorus during his audition for the band. The instrumental already carried the title Tainted Wings; he retained it while developing the chorus in his home studio.
Ward describes the song as the final single planned before the album. His account gives the release a direct connection to the band’s change of vocalist, beyond its place in the album campaign.
The lineup and recording credits
Ward joins guitarists James Bird and Marc Montgomery, bassist Matt Ward and drummer Craig McFetridge. World So Wonderful follows 2021’s Against the Wall.
The visualizer credits Dan Weller with production and mixing, Costin Chioreanu with the art, and Scott Kennedy of 12 Inch Media with the visualizer itself.
Mason Hill’s November UK run begins in Wolverhampton on November 12 and ends in Milton Keynes on November 19. It includes a November 13 support appearance with Skindred at Glasgow’s Barrowlands. Album preorders and the current live schedule are linked from the band’s website.
