Foghat have released Hole to Hide In (Live), the third single from their forthcoming album Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. The track arrived on October 9, ahead of the full album’s October 30 release through Foghat Records.

A 1972 song in a new live release

The song first appeared on Foghat’s self-titled 1972 debut. The new single presents it through the band’s current lineup, rather than reissuing that original studio recording. Foghat are featuring the track on their official website.

The forthcoming album draws on shows recorded across the United States during the band’s 2024 and 2025 tours. Its lineup pairs founding drummer Roger Earl with slide and lead guitarist Bryan Bassett, singer and guitarist Scott Holt, and bassist Rodney O’Quinn.

What is on the October 30 album?

Foghat’s album announcement identifies this as the first live album by the current lineup. The two main discs contain 14 live tracks, including My Babe, Road Fever, Home in My Hand and I Just Want to Make Love to You.

The vinyl package adds a third disc: Shaken & Stirred by Earl & the Agitators, the related project featuring Foghat members. It pairs two gold LPs with a red bonus LP. The October 9 single is available now; the full live collection follows on October 30.
