Fender refreshes ten American Professional models
Fender updates ten American Professional guitars and basses.

Fender announced its refreshed American Professional range on October 13, 2026. The ten-model family spans Stratocaster, Stratocaster HSS, Telecaster, Hotshot Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, and four- and five-string Precision and Jazz basses.
Different instruments, different updates
The Corona-built range introduces V-Mod III pickups. The Hotshot Telecaster adds a middle Stratocaster pickup and five-way switching; Jazzmaster and Jaguar models use a ClassicGear J-Bridge and Panorama tremolo. Selected left-handed models are planned for spring 2027.
Start with the configuration
For a useful shortlist, separate the pickup layout you want from the body shape you like. Then compare switching and bridge arrangements within that shortlist. A family name is a starting point, rather than a reason to assume every model offers the same controls.
