Motörhead’s official channel has released an animated lyric video for Cameron Webb’s new remix of “Built For Speed.” Published October 15, the video offers another preview of the Orgasmatron 40th Anniversary Edition, scheduled for November 6, 2026.

The animation and video are credited to Lee Gregory at ILoveMotion. You can watch the official “Built For Speed” lyric video here.

A new mix of the 1986 recording

This is a fresh mix of an existing Motörhead recording. The original Orgasmatron arrived in 1986 with Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Pete Gill, with Bill Laswell producing and Jason Corsaro engineering. Webb’s anniversary remix returns to the original multitracks.

In the band’s official anniversary announcement, Webb explains that he wanted to retain the recording’s distinctive character while bringing more detail into focus. He presents the work as another way to hear the album, rather than a replacement for the original mix.

Which edition includes the remix?

The formats have an important difference for anyone following this new version of “Built For Speed.” The deluxe editions bring the two album treatments together; the single vinyl edition takes a different route:

  • The deluxe 3LP bookpack and 2CD set include the remastered original album, Webb’s remix, 1985 studio rehearsals and outtakes, and the 1986 BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show session.
  • The transparent-violet 1LP edition contains the remastered original studio album.
