Ola Englund’s The Neverending Story is now streaming in full, with a guest guitar solo from Jeff Loomis on “World Rift.” The official album stream went live on October 15 UTC, giving listeners the complete record after its advance singles.

Englund’s official album page identifies the release as his third solo album. It is an instrumental metal record with ten tracks; Apple Music lists a running time of about 39 minutes.

Where to find the Loomis solo

“World Rift” is track seven, and its chapter begins at 23:19 in the official full-album stream. That is the direct route for anyone coming to the album through the Loomis collaboration. The stream also supplies individual chapter markers for the other nine tracks.

The published credits name Englund for the music and guitar parts, Johan Niemann on bass, and Jocke Skog for mixing and mastering. Loomis’s contribution is specifically credited as the guest solo on “World Rift.”

Fantasy, games and a guitar-led album

The official album description places the record in a world of fantasy, retro gaming and 1980s adventure movies. Those references describe Englund’s stated creative framework; the full stream now lets listeners hear how that framework carries across the complete sequence.

For players who want to get beyond the stream, the artist’s store also lists a tablature book alongside the CD and vinyl editions.
