KMA Gives GEMINUS a 50-Pedal Glow-in-the-Dark Edition
KMA has dressed its GEMINUS Stereo True Double Tracker for Halloween, with a luminescent biohazard finish and green LED. The company says the edition is limited to 50 pedals and sold through its direct store.
A limited finish for the GEMINUS doubler
KMA presents this as a finish edition of GEMINUS; its announcement does not describe a new doubling engine. Its controls include stereo width, timing, pitch and the balance between the original and doubled signals.
Mono and stereo routing options use top-mounted TRS connections. KMA recommends a mono source for the most natural imitation of studio double tracking; its standard product documentation warns that heavy doubling on some stereo sources can introduce phase problems or blur existing effects. That is a useful consideration before placing it after an already-wide ambience chain.
Availability
The announced run is 50 units in total—not a statement that 50 remain available. KMA’s announcement page does not provide an exact launch date.
The finish is the headline here; the announcement makes no claim of a new doubling algorithm.
