SEK shares “Amore Mio” video ahead of Wallensteins Garage
SEK’s “Amore Mio” video brings a lockdown-jam riff into the fictional world of Wallensteins Garage, due October 30 through Exile On Mainstream.

SEK has released a video for “Amore Mio,” the latest track from Wallensteins Garage. The Berlin psychedelic/progressive-rock trio premiered it through The Sleeping Shaman on October 14. The album follows October 30 through Exile On Mainstream.
A lockdown riff finds its place
According to the band’s account accompanying the premiere, the main lick dates back to the trio’s first lockdown jam, before the album’s concept existed. Bassist Lucas Kazzer kept returning to the figure and its odd meter until it found a home in “Amore Mio.”
The band members say they leaned into a shuffle feel and a more major-key character to suggest a horse’s movement. That is a specific compositional choice behind the fuzz: a rhythmic idea carried from an early improvisation into the finished record’s story.
Guitarist Paul-Willy Stoyan, drummer Georg Edert and Kazzer make up the trio. The label’s album page connects their other work to Gavial, Elder and Gaffa Ghandi, among other projects. The name SEK comes from the initials of their surnames.
History through a fictional frame
The album draws on Albrecht von Wallenstein and the Thirty Years’ War, but its central scene is deliberately fictional. In the label’s synopsis, the commander sits in a garage restoring his taxidermied horse while reflecting on the past. That premise sets up the record’s interest in memory and mythmaking.
The five-track album credits Fabien de Menou with recording and mixing, and production alongside SEK. Benjamin Butter contributes keyboards and cover artwork; Stefan Brueggemann mastered it at Mastering Room Berlin, according to the artist’s Bandcamp page.
Watch “Amore Mio” at The Sleeping Shaman. The October 30 release is listed digitally and on black vinyl bundled with a CD. Bandcamp also lists the five-song sequence and the music available ahead of release.
