TONE3000 Update Adds Pitch Shift and Dual Mono
TONE3000 outlines its latest plugin changes, including native search, pitch shifting and dual-mono routing.

TONE3000’s free, open-source plugin has a new set of tools for players building virtual rigs. The developer’s October 2, 2026 update announcement covers native browsing, pitch shifting and dual-mono processing. The linked v0.0.11 release was published on GitHub on October 1.
A rebuilt interface and an extra pedal option
The interface now uses native code in place of an embedded browser. Search and filters sit inside the plugin, so finding a capture no longer means opening an embedded website.
Pitch Shift adds transposition and MIDI expression-pedal control. There is one setup detail worth knowing: it is hidden by default. Open Plugin Settings and enable Show Pitch Shift to make it available.
One set of controls, two separate channels
Dual Mono applies the same chain settings independently to the left and right inputs. That gives stereo sources a shared set of controls while keeping the two signals separate.
The gate gains release, hold and range adjustments. Local captures and impulse responses can also be imported with Load File or Load Folder commands, alongside the existing drag-and-drop approach.
For an existing user, the practical checkpoints are straightforward: explore the new search, enable the pitch control if needed, and check the routing options before rebuilding a session around them. The developer’s official update announcement includes download instructions and the complete change list.
