Foghat release Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. with a new blues video
Foghat’s new live album pairs Bryan Bassett and Scott Holt across 2024–25 recordings, with a fresh video for I Just Want to Make Love to You.
Foghat’s Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. has reached its October 30 release date. The band’s official website now marks the album as out and highlights a new video for “I Just Want to Make Love to You.”
This follows our earlier coverage of “Hole to Hide In (Live)”. The new development is the full album’s release and another official video—not a fresh announcement of the record.
The guitar connection
The lineup pairs Bryan Bassett on lead and slide guitar with singer-guitarist Scott Holt, alongside drummer Roger Earl and bassist Rodney O’Quinn. The album draws on performances recorded during the band’s 2024 and 2025 tours.
“I Just Want to Make Love to You” reaches back further. Foghat’s release-day presentation identifies Willie Dixon as its writer and connects the song with the band’s 1972 debut. The new video brings that blues lineage into the current lineup’s live-album campaign.
What the vinyl edition contains
The announced triple-vinyl edition combines two gold live-album discs with a red bonus disc of Shaken & Stirred, originally released under the Earl & the Agitators name. The band identifies this as the first live album featuring its current lineup, not its first live album ever.
The official site links to physical and digital editions. For listeners following the guitar pairing, the new video is a concrete starting point.
